Toyota.... What ARE you thinking? Sticking gas pedals & you won't admit it's a dangerous defect?

I've been hearing on the news that Toyota was reluctant to even ADMIT there was a problem wiht their accelerator pedals on some of their new cars!

Wow.. how irresponsible and negligent of you! They even had a family who lost their LIFE b/c their gas pedal stuck and they couldn't stop and got into a fatal crash!

And THAT wouldn't induce you, Toyota, to call for a recall on those vehicles? WHY??? Are you trying to take after Subaru? They are another lousy Asian car mfr who are so very negligent about taking care of their customers when they buy new cars. I had even heard of one poor lady who ran her own dog over with her new Subaru when its brakes had failed in her own driveway!

Well, shame on you! You ought to be put out of business if that's the way you run a car manufacturing company! Got, what is worse than a stuck accelerator pedal? That car becomes a killing machine then!

I'm amazed but at the same time, I'm kinda not! If you DO have a Toyota, a newer model.. like the Lexxus or some other of the models DO go to your dealer RIGHT AWAY and get it fixed!

Don't put it off! You are only putting yourself and others in danger to stall getting this thing fixed!

Geez... remind me to start buying American cars instead! I know people would have a HISSY FIT if Ford, or Dodge or Chevy tried to pull such a stunt!

  1. I was just listening to Rush Limbaugh and he was saying that it was WRONG for the Federal Govt to insist on having all the paperwork for the recalls!

WHY is that wrong Rush? I'm so surprised at you. People have DIED in their Toyotas due to this sticking gas pedal problem!

And yet you complain that the Toyota mfr did no wrong???? I'm shocked.. honestly, cuz many of your points on your show are valid, but this one sure ain't!

And if you want to allow car manufacturers to sweep this kind of stuff under the rug, then rest assured, others will follow suit. :(
